Anderson Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> RE: Proposal for Transit Bus Barn Remodeling <br /> To Whom It May Concern: <br /> The purpose of this document is to serve as a cover letter for the enclosed bid for the Transit Bus <br /> Barn Remodel located at 555 E. Wood Street in Decatur, IL. <br /> Jones & Sullivan Enterprises, Inc. can confirm that we visited the job site to verify all relevant <br /> details and dimensions, we have all the financial resources to complete the project, the work <br /> would be performed in a timely and professional manner, and this project is similar in scope to <br /> numerous projects previously completed by our company. Jones& Sullivan Enterprises, Inc. is <br /> not on the U.S. Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors and we are qualified and ', <br /> eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations. We do understand that the I <br /> City of Decatur encourages the use of DBE's in completing their work. However, we were <br /> unable to identify any DBE's to bid this project,but would not be opposed to using such firms. <br /> Jones& Sullivan Enterprises, Inc. has prepared the required documentation as requested in the <br /> "Request for Proposals". Included herewith you will find Attachment A: Proposal, Attachment <br /> B: Bid Form and Attachment C: Non-Collusion Disclosure. The "Request for Proposals"also <br /> asked for a list of subcontractors to be used on this project. Subcontractors to be used by Jones& <br /> Sullivan Enterprises, Inc. and their portion of the services that they will provide are as follows: <br /> Bodine Electric of Decatur-Electrical $2,965.00 <br /> Nogle & Black, Inc. -Plumbing $11,900.00 <br /> The reinainder of the work will be self performed by Jones & Sullivan Enterprises, Inc. <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to provide this proposal to the City of Decatur and, should we be <br /> accepted as the general contractor, we look forward to working with the City to provide the <br /> needed improvements.
