RESOLUTION NO. R2009-230 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR <br /> AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE <br /> MACARTHUR ROAD BRIDGE OVER STEVEN'S CREEK <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes the City of Decatur to enter into an Agreement <br /> with the State of Illinois for the MacArthur Road Bridge Over Steven's Creek Replacement <br /> Project, known as State Section 08-00602-00-BR; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said construction <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Two Hundred Sixty <br /> Thousand, and 00 cents ($260,000) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any money <br /> now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay the cost of the construction and design work as <br /> described in the Agreement. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to sign, seal and attest said Agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 20 . <br /> f � � <br /> Micha T.
