Director of EU� /Neighborhood Outreach Manger Q� <br /> SUBJECT: Sub recipient Agreement for Project Read <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached sub recipient <br /> agreement with Dove, Inc. and Project Read-Richland Community College for literaGy <br /> program. The amount allocated is $50,000. <br /> BACKGROUND: The overall purpose of the program is to prepare an additional 100 <br /> people with literacy deficits in reading, writing, language, and/or math to enter the <br /> employment market. The program provides specific, measurable outcomes for literacy <br /> gains. <br /> The Neighborhood Redevelopment Division has prepared a sub recipient agreement <br /> which will provide funds for the Project Read activities.
