f � <br /> .� <br /> ` ' � INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br /> Between City of Decatur, Illinois, and <br /> Decatur Civic Center Authority for <br /> Operation of certain City parking garages <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is between the CITY OF DECATUR, a municipal <br /> corporation organized under the laws of the State of Illinois ("City"), and the <br /> DECATUR METROPOLITAN EXPOSITION, AUDITORIUM AND OFFICE <br /> BUILDING AUTHORITY, a unit of local government organized under the laws of <br /> the State of Illinois ("Authority"). <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VII, Section 10 of the 1970 Constitution of <br /> the State of Illinois, and, the Illinois Intergovernmental Cooperation Act (5 ILCS <br /> 200/1), units of local government in the State of Illinois may contract between <br /> themselves to obtain or share services and to exercise or combine functions which <br /> either of the units of local government are authorized by law to perform; and <br /> WI�REAS, the City and Authority desire to enter into this Agreement for the , <br /> Authori to _ I <br /> ty furnish personnel and supervision for certain city off street motor <br /> vehicle parking facilities located within the City; and <br /> WI�REAS, this Agreement is to define the duties and obligations of the <br /> parties hereto in regard to such operation, but this Agreement is not to supersede any <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement heretofore entered into between such parties. <br /> 1 <br />
