� ' <br /> 2. Routine Maintenance Services: The Sanitary District of Decatur shall provide the following <br /> maintenance services at the above pump stations: <br /> 1. Check the equipment and operations; <br /> 2. Clean the electrodes (where applicable); <br /> 3. Lubricate areas that require lubrications; <br /> 4. Clean bar screens (where applicable); <br /> 5. Perform routine preventative maintenance; <br /> 6. Provide routine maintenance and repair; <br /> 7. Cut and trim grass; <br /> 8. Paint and provide general housekeeping; and <br /> 9. Remove grease accumulations with the Vactor at least every three months, but more <br /> frequently, if required. <br /> The routine maintenance described above shall be performed at Green Oaks, Grays Lane <br /> and Taylor Avenue pump stations three times per week. All other CITY owned pump stations <br /> shall receive the above routine maintenance twice per week. <br /> 3. Maintenance Costs: The CITY shall pay to the Sanitary District of Decatur, <br /> $85,647.25, which reflects a rate of$12.35 per day per pumping station. The payments shall <br /> be made on a quarterly basis. The DISTRICT will bill the CITY quarterly on the ls`day of <br /> April, July, October, and January. The DISTRICT will review the maintenance costs <br /> annually and advise the City of changes in the daily rate. In addition to the maintenance <br /> costs, all actual costs for equipment, repair parts, and /or costs of installation purchased by <br /> the District will be billed to the CITY. The DISTRICT shall notify the CITY in advance of <br /> any major repairs and/or improvements whenever possible. <br /> • Any overtime required maintaining the pump stations to be absorbed by the <br /> District. <br /> • The District will have personnel available 24 hours per day for emergency <br /> responses. <br /> • The owner of the pump stations will pay the utility costs. <br /> 4. Term: The parties agree that the term of this Agreement shall be from May 2009 and <br /> continuing until termination/modifications as detailed in item 5 below. <br /> 5. Modification/Termination of Intergovernmental A�reement: This Agreement may be <br /> terminated upon any one of the following: <br /> A. By mutual agreement of both parties; <br /> B. By 30-day notice by either party personally; served upon the non-terminating party; <br />
