- MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING - <br /> Decatur Public Transii System <br /> � A public hearing was held on Thursday, January 29, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to S:UO p.m., in the <br /> Transit Administration Building, 555 E. Wood St., Decatur. The purpose of the public hearing <br /> was to receive public commeni on Decatur•'s iniention to file a mass transit operating assistance <br /> grant application with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). <br /> The notice of the hearing was published in the Decatur Tribune newspaper on January 21s1 <br /> Notices were also posted in the Senator Severns Transit Center and in the Transit Adininistration <br /> Building. <br /> The hearing was opened at 3:00 p.m. by Paul McChancy, Mass Transit Administrator; the <br /> hearing was closed at 5:00 p.m. No one attended the hearing. <br /> The published notice of the hearing also stated that written comments would be accepted by <br /> mail, by delivery, by FAX, and by e-mail until 5:00 p.m. on January 29'h.
