ORDINANCE NO. 2009-24 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR MAY l, 2008 THROUGH APRIL 30, 2009 MUNICIPAL BAND— FUND 36 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption by the Council of the annual Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal year May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009, certain additional revenue not available and not then anticipated to be available when said annual Appropriation Ordinance was adopted has been made available or is anticipated to become available by higher revenues and lower expenditures; and WHEREAS, the total amount hereinafter appropriated is not in excess of the aggregate of the additional revenue so made available or estimated to be received by the City subsequent to the adoption of said annual Appropriation Ordinance as aforesaid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COtJNC1L OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the following sums be, and they are hereby appropriated in the Municipal Band — Fund 36, for the corporate purposes, expenses, and lawful charges of the City for the fiscal year May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009, said sums to be provided for as aforesaid: Operating Expenses $5,000 Section 2. That any unexpended balance of any item or items of any appropriation herein may be expended to make up deficiencies in any sum or sums otherwise so appropriated herein. Section 3. That the City Clerk, be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause this Ordinance to be published in pamphlet form.
