ORDINANCE NO. 2009-20 <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> MAY 1, 2008 THROUGH APRIL 30, 2009 <br /> GENERAL FUND—FUND 10 <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption by the Council of the annual Appropriation <br /> Ordinance for the fiscal year May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009, certain additional expenses <br /> were not then anticipated when said annual Appropriation Ordinance was adopted; and <br /> WHEREAS, the total amount hereinafter appropriated is not in excess of the aggregate of <br /> the additional revenue so made available or estimated to be received by the City subsequent to <br /> the adoption of said annual Appropriation Ordinance as aforesaid. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DF,CATtJR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following sums be, and they are hereby appropriated in the General <br /> Fund budget for departments listed below, for retroactive pay increases approved by the City <br /> Council for the fiscal year May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009, said sums to be provided for as <br /> aforesaid: <br /> Finance Department $ 21,000 <br /> Purchasing 10,000 <br /> Construction Inspections 63,000 <br /> Neighborhood Inspections 51,000 <br /> Emergency Communications 97,000 <br /> Fire Department 372,400 <br /> Streets & Sewers 47,500 <br /> Traffic & Parking 45,100 <br /> Urban Forestry 35,000 <br /> Non-Departmental (742,000) <br />
