ti I <br /> � T • ` <br /> . ,t <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2009-07 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-24 <br /> HOTEL USE TAX <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Ordinance No. 81-24 was duly passed by the Decatur City <br /> Council on April 13, 1981, and was subsequently amended by Ordinance No. 90-37, <br /> Ordinance No. 2002-63, and Ordinance No. 2007-53. <br /> Section 2. That the amendment approved by Ordinance No. 2002-63 established <br /> the use and privilege of renting, leasing or letting of rooms in a hotel in the City at the <br /> rate of six percent of the gross rental receipts from such rental, leasing or letting; and <br /> furthermore, by Ordinance No. 2007-53 said taY was extended until August 31, 2009. <br /> Section 3. That Section 3 of Ordinance 2007-53 be, and it is hereby, amended so <br /> that as amended said ordinance shall remain in effect on and after September 1, 2009. <br /> Section 4.
