. ` <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2008-93 <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION NOTES <br /> SERIES 2007 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2007-78 passed and approved on October 5, 2007, the <br /> Council caused general obligation notes of the City to be issued and did levy therein certain sums <br /> to pay the principal and interest on said notes; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds other than those raised by general taxation have or will become <br /> available to timely pay such principal and interest as the same become due in fiscal year 2009- <br /> 2010. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
