t f <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2008-84 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - LOWBER STREET AND WALNUT STR�ET - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle <br /> on Lowber Street approaching Walnut Street from the North or South shall stop and yield the right-of- <br /> way to vehicles on Walnut Street which have entered the intersection of said streets or which are <br /> approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so stopped <br /> and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Two <br /> Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3. That the provisions of all Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance which insofar as the same do conflict therewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 3rd day of November, 2008. <br /> ' �i <br /> � MI AEL T.
