Carrigan <br /> Members of the Decatur City Council <br /> John Smith <br /> FROM: Craig Coil <br /> EDC of Decatur& Macon County <br /> Decatur Enterprise Zone Administrator <br /> DATE: September 4, 2008 <br /> SUBJ: Proposed Decatur Macon Countv Enterprise Zone Boundarv <br /> Amendment <br /> At this time, the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon <br /> County(EDC) is requesting your approval of one Enterprise Zone boundary <br /> amendment. The amendment is located within the City of Decatur and has been <br /> approved by the Enterprise Zone Advisory Board, the Macon County Board <br /> EEHW Committee and is slated for review and approval by the full Macon County <br /> Board on September 11, 2008. Decatur City Council concurrence is required in <br /> order for EDC to submit the formal application to the State of Illinois. <br /> Project Summary: <br /> The State Bank of Niantic is proposing to construct a new 4,500 square foot <br /> banking facility on the west side of Decatur on the comer of Fountain Lane and <br /> Parkway Crossing Drive. The total capital investment is expected to be in the <br /> range of$1.5 million to $1.75 million and will result in the creation of at least ten <br />
