� � � ORDINANCE NO. 2008-67 I AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ALL-WAY STOP INTERSECTION - NORTH WATER AND WILLIAM STREET - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the intersection of North Water and William Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, designated and established as an all-way stop intersection. Section. 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after hav�ing stopped, shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from a other direction or which is approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate haza d during the time when said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter havin so stepped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate �ny of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Section 4. That the provisions of all Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ' Ordinance which insofar as the same do conflict therewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
