Eaiun, Rncurdnr � �� ii �'� Book: 3920 Page� 939 �� f2d�eipl p: 1'399 Rn�urJiiiy f ea: �J/.OU '��(�Q� f�nyda R�i��rddd_ II AufhorirdJ f3y_ vp/�� ��7 ` ate Recorded: B/25/2008 10�0713 AM �� ORDINANCE NO. 2008-63 ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF STREET - 4000 BLOCK EAST MUELLER AVENUE - WHEREAS, a request has been received fi-om Archer Daniels Midland Company, requesting the vacation by the City Council of the 4000 Block of East Mueller Street in the City , of Decatur, Illinois legally described as: ' Beginning on the east line of W %z, SW '/4 of Section 5, T16N R3E 3`d PM more particularly described as NE corner of Lot 20 of Industrial Park Second Addition I, as per Plat as recorded in Book 1575, Page 153 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence N 89°-59'-48" W 221.00 feet along the south ROW line of Mueller Ave., thence N 0°-12'-00" E 60.00' to a point on the north ROW line of Mueller Avenue; thence S 89°-59'-48" E 221.00 feet to the SE corner Lot 21; thence south along the east line of W '/z, SW '/4 of said Section 5 S 0°-12'-00" E 60' to the point of beginning containing 0.30 AC more or less; and, WHEREAS, said portion of said street is no loizger useful to the public or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as right-of-way; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of said street and the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining� the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described portion of street be, and the same is hereby, vacated as public street inasmuch as the same is no ]onger rec�uired for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of street being shown on the plat thereof hereto attacl�ed and hereby made a part hereof. �`
