ORDINANCE NO. 2008-57 <br /> ORDINANCE ORDERING THE PAYMENT OF FU DS TO THE <br /> DECATUR AREA CONVENTION AND VISITORS�BUREAU <br /> WHEREAS, by annual appropriation ordinance, No. 2008-47, of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2008, certain items of appropriations were made <br /> within the departments of the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of said City desires that a portion of the monies appropriated for <br /> the Looking for Lincoln Fund be designated for the Decatur Area I Convention and Visitors <br /> Bureau; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Illinois, is a home rule unit of government, as <br /> established by the Constitution of the State of Illinois. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C UNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: , <br /> Section 1.
