R. COOPER'S SUBDIVISION - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Marion Sue Stork and Allan F. Stork requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Lot Two (2) of W.R. Cooper's Subdivision, as per Plat recorded in Book 1575 Page 1 1 1 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along lwith all parts o1� public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
