I . <br /> Economic Development Corporatian <br /> af Decatur and Macon County <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Mayor Paul Osbome <br /> Members of the Decatur City Council <br /> John Smith <br /> FROM: Craig Coil <br /> EDC of Decatur & Macon County <br /> Decatur Enterprise Zone Administrator I <br /> DATE: May 27, 2008 <br /> SUBJ: Proposed Decatur Macon Countv Enterprise Zone Boundarv <br /> Amendments <br /> At this time, the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon <br /> County(EDC), as the designated Enterprise Zone Administrator by formal <br /> agreement with the City of Decatur, is requesting your approval of two <br /> Enterprise Zone boundary amendments. Both of the amendments are located <br /> within the City of Decatur and have been approved by the Eniterprise Zone <br /> Advisory Board, the Macon County Board EEHW Committee and the full Macon <br /> County Board. Decatur City Council concurrence is required in order for EDC to <br /> submit the formal application to the State of Illinois. <br /> The project summaries are as follows: <br /> 1) The legal description in the proposed Ordinance unde� Parcel 1 is <br /> identified on the attached map entitled Exhibit "C" as the Bakers Dozen <br /> LLC/ Decatur Cancer Center site. <br /> Bakers Dozen LLC proposes to construct a 55,391 square foot medical <br /> office facility. The project represents a proposed capi al investment of <br /> $26,500,000 and is projected to create and/or retain 1�0 full time <br /> positions. <br />
