Excerpts from Plan Commission Minutes of March 6, 2008 continued: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the variances to allow two(2) wall signs on one (1) lot and to <br /> increase the area of one (1) wall sign from 25 square feet to 54 square feet and a second (2ndl <br /> I <br /> wall sign from 25 square feet to 94 square feet. <br /> A motion to forward Calendar Number 08-07 to the City Council with a recommendation of <br /> approval is suggested. <br /> Mr. John Phillips, petitioner, was sworn in by Mrs. Poland. <br /> Mr. Phillips stated he purchased the property about a year and a half ago and has spent about <br /> $300,000 to improve the service station. Mr. Phillips said the signs he is requesting the variance <br /> for have been created by DCC Marketing. He would like to have the signage visible from the <br /> road. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Mickler/Clevenger) to forward Cal. No. 08-07 to the City Council <br /> with recommendation for approval as presented by staff. Motion carried unanimously. <br />�� __ <br />
