The previous building located on the lot was no longer adequat to serve the needs of the <br /> ambulance service. The building has since been demolished. The se of the building was non- <br /> conforming under the current Zoning Ordinance. Because of the con truction of a new facility, the <br /> structure and use must come into compliance with the Zoning Ordin ce. An ambulance service <br /> requires a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> 2. The area in question is presently zoned B-2, Commercial District. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 1. The subject petition requests a conditional use permit to allow for th expansion of an ambulance <br /> service which will include the housing and training of personnel. Th facility can accommodate a <br /> maximum of four(4)personnel for lodging and a maximum of six (6) for training. <br /> 2. The proposed building will be 4,500 (50' x 90') square feet and is loc ted on 0.25 acres. <br /> STAFF ANALYSIS <br /> 1. Section XXII.A.3. lists three standards which must be met in ord r to grant a conditional use <br /> pertnit.
