i .. �• ORDINANCE NO. 2008-04 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTI N OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PA K - ANNUAL SUMMER BLUES CONCERT - WHEREAS, for the past several years a Summer Blues Conce program has been held in Central Park; and, WHEREAS, as written in City Code Chapter 52, Section 8, emporary Permit, it is the 'I intention of a local not-for-profit agency to sponsor a Summer Blues Concert and to offer beer '� and wine for sale to patrons for consumption at each event; and, � WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best in erest of the local not-for- profit agency and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of al oholic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such da s, between the hours listed opposite each, only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be onsumed in Central Park located in downtown Decatur, said days and hours being particularly d scribed as follows: Thursday, June 19, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only Thursday, July 17, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only Thursday, August 21, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only
