� - s � ORDINANCE NO. 2007-60 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF LCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AND IN CE TRAL PARK - DECATUR CELEBRATION - WHEREAS, the Decatur Celebration, a community summer fe tival of games, shows and food, will be held on the public streets and in Central Park in do town Decatur beginning Friday, August 3, 2007, and continuing through Sunday, August 5, 20 7; and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Decatur Celebration to of er the following alcoholic beverages: Budweiser, Bud Light, Bacardi Silver, and Sutter Home ine (various flavors), for sale to its patrons for consumption at the Celebration; and, WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor on public ri hts-of-way and in Central Yark requires the express approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the be t interest of the Decatur Celebration and of the Cit}� of Decatur that such consumption of alcoh lic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE C1TY OUNCIL OF 1'H� CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such day , between the hours listed opposite each, the above named alcoholic beverages only may be co sumed at, in or on those portions of public rights-of-way described in Section 2 hereof, and 'n Central Park located in downtown Decatur, said days and hours being particularly described a� follows: Friday, August 3, 2007 5:0 p.m. - 11:G0 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 12:0 Noon - 11:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2007 12:0 Noon - 9:30 p.m. Section 2. That those portions of public rights-of-way at, i , or on which the above named alcoholic liquor may be consumed, on the days and during th hours listed in Section 1 hereof, are described as follows:
