t ORDINANCE NO. 2007-59 � ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF LCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WA LAKESIDE MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIV L WHEREAS, Lakeside Music and Arts Festival, a communit festival, will be held in Nelson Park and on Public Right-of-Way on Saturday, June 30, and Su day, July 1, 2007; and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of Lakeside Music and Arts Fest �al to offer beer and wine cooler beverages for sale to its patrons for consumption at the Festival; and, WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor on public ights-of-way requires the express approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best inter st of Lakeside Music and Arts Festival and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of alcbholic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. NOW, 1'HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECA"1'UR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such day , between the hours listed opposite each, beer and wine coolers may be consumed at, in or on tho e portions of public right- of-way described in Section 2 hereof, said days and hours being pa icularly described as fol- lows: Saturday, June 30, 2007 10:00 A.M. to 10: 0 P.M. Sunday, July 1, 2007 10:00 A.M. to 10: 0 P.M. Section 2. That those portions of public right-of-way at, in, o on which beer and wine coolers may be consumed, on the days and during the hours listed in Section 1 hereof, are de- scribed as follows: Parking Lot East of the Lake Decatur Boat House � Public Right-of-Way along the Boardwalk East of the Boat Ho se to Dockside
