� r � � 4 ORDINANCE NO. 2007-22 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION - WEST WILLIAM STREET AND NORTH C URCH STREET - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'fHF. CITY F DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the intersection of West William Street and Nort Church Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, designated and established a a all-way stop intersection. Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving no ice thereof; vehicular traffic approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after h ving stopped, shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from nother direction or which is approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate haz rd during the time when said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter havi g so stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violat any of the provisions of this ordinance shall. u on conviction be fined not less than Ten Dollars 10.00 nor more than Two p , $ ) Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Section 4. That the provisions of all ordinances in con.t7ict with the provisions of this ordinance which inscfar as the same do conflict therewith be, and the same are here y, repealed.
