Faion, Recorder . k��.m�. � - i� Bo k: 3809 Page: 900 Rec nipt tt: 935 Rec.ording Fes: #33.0(� Pagns Recu deJ: 7 �[�_Qn,{-a,, _�.�_.�.r� 1�z9166 Date Reco ded: 5/24/2007 8:54:51 AM II II II�� I I �� I I� �I II II I� II I� II II �I ORDINANCE NO. 2007-15 ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF ST ET - 2400 BLOCK EAST MILLIKIN PARKWA - WHEREAS, a request has been received from G & D Integrat d, requesting the vacation by the City Council of right-of-way in the City of Decatur, Illinois desc•ibed as: A part of the existing 60 foot right of way of Millikin Parkw y, said part more particularly described as: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Lot Two (2) of Park 1 1 Industrial Park Seventh Addition as per plat recorded in Book 1832, Page 22 of the records in the Recorder's Office, Macon County, Illinois; thence North ai ng the West right of way line of said Millikin Parkway, 60.00 feet; thence East ai ng the North right of way line of said Millikin Parkway, 74.81 feet; thence So h 60.00 feet to a point on the South right of way line of said Millikin Parkway; hence West along the said South right of way line of Millikin Parkway, 74.81 feet to the point of be- ginning, containing 4490 square feet more or less; and, WHEREAS, said right-of-way is no longer useful to the publ'c or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as right-of-way; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating aid right-of-way aa�d the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of ma ntaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C UNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described right-of-way be, and the s me is hereby, vacated as public right-of-way inasmuch as the same is no longer rec�uired for pu lic use and the public in- terest will be subserved by such vacation, said right-of-way being s own on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
