ORDINANCE NO. 2006-119 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTIpN OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PA K - ANNUAL SUMMER BLUES CONCERT - WHEREAS, for the past several years a Summer Blues Conce program has been held in Central Park; and, WHEREAS, as written in City Code Chapter 52, Section 8, emporary Permit, it is the intention of a local not-for-profit agency to sponsor a Summer Blues Concert and to offer beer and wine for sale to patrons for consumption at each event; and, WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best in erest of the local not-for- profit agency and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of al oholic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. , NOV�, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such day , between the hours listed opposite each, only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be co sumed in Central Park lo- cated in downtown Decatur, said days and hours being particularly des ribed as follows: Thursday, June 21, 2007 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. I Beer and Wine Only Thursday, July 19, 2007 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only Thursday, August 16, 2007 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only
