Neighborhood Shopping District to allow drive
through facilities.
Ms. Stickle was sworn in by Mrs. Althoff.
Ms. Stickle presented the recommendation of staff:
Financial institutions are permitted uses in the Office and N ighborhood Shopping
Districts because they are minimally invasive to residential areas. The recommenda ions are as follows:
SECTION X.A.7. (Office District)
Add "with drive through facilities; however all amplified equipment shall
be located at least 25 feet from any rear or side lot line in a residential
district." And delete "without drive through facilities".
SECTION XI.B.10. (B-1 Neighborhood Shopping District)
Add "with drive through facilities; however all amplified quipment shall
be located at least 25 feet from any rear or side lot linein a residential
district."
Staff recommends approval of the amendments as proposed.
Section XXIX.G. of the Zoning Ordinance requires the Plan Co ission to hold a public
hearing and make recommendations to the City Council on ame dments to the Zoning
Ordinance. The Plan Commission may recommend to the City Council to approve or
deny the amendments.
A motion to forward Calendar Number 06-79 to the City Council ith a recommendation
for approval is suggested.
Mr. Mickler asked if the section regarding the amplified equipm nt was referring to the
PA system.
