Due to the fact that Decatur Airport is principally a commercial and general aviation <br /> facility it is subject to Illinois Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation <br /> Administration rules and regulations. Subparagraph 3 includes definitions which dictate <br /> uses allowed and restricted in many areas. The FAR Part 77 and Airport Layout Plans <br /> are documents which are approved by State and Federal authorities and must be adhered <br /> to unless amended. <br /> Subparagraph 4lists the uses which are permitted in the A-OL District. <br /> Subparagraph 5 lists a limited number of conditional uses which may be allowed. <br /> Subparagraphs 6 through 12 set forth standards which include minimum yard <br /> requirements, maximum height restrictions, sign regulations, parking standards, <br /> landscaping and site plan or development approval procedures which must be followed. <br /> Subparagraph 13 imposes public hearing requirements if variations to any of the A-OL <br /> District provisions are requested. <br /> Subparagraph 14 requires that the Airport Layout Plan and FAR 77 Surfaces be used as <br /> the base standard for planning and development of property within the A-OL District.
