a j <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2006-50 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 50.1 — <br /> - TRANSIENT MERCHANTS— <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 50.1 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, <br /> and the same is hereby amended, by adding Sections 7 and 8 thereto said Sections 7 and 8 <br /> as so added to provide as follows: <br /> 7. Transient Merchant License Required — No transient merchant or <br /> Itinerant Vendor shall be operated without a license therefore, issued by the City <br /> Manager, nor unless it conforms to the requirements of this Chapter. <br /> 8. Penalty — Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the <br /> provisions of this Chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than Five <br /> Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense, and each day on which a violation <br /> occurs or continues shall be considered a separate offense. <br /> Section 2.
