L� Q� � <br /> FEE ������ ��'� ._--- �( ��co"�'=� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2006-48 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - 808 HAYNES DRIVE - <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to <br /> the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Michael T. Diebert requesting that there be an- <br /> nexed to the City territory described as: <br /> Lot Twenty-Four (24) of Larose Place, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 292 <br /> of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, and commonly <br /> known as 808 Haynes Drive, Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said tenitory is con- <br /> tiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or <br /> other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, ap- <br /> proved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public high- <br /> ways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a munici- <br /> pal corporation. - <br />
