This is the second step,after the posting of a structure as unfit,which initiates the <br /> demolition process. City staff recommends approval. <br /> 1248 N.Church-NSI#200802228. This case was started on 7-29-08. Paul E.Curtis is named as the <br /> owner in the case. This house was found to be standing open and abandoned and in a severe state of <br /> deterioration all around. There has been extensive vandalism throughout and most all items of value <br /> have been stripped out. One exterior wall is buckling from structural deterioration. <br /> 977 N.College-NSI#200801980. This case was started on 7-2-08. Martha and Estella Douglas are <br /> named as the owners in the case. This case involves the garage only. There is extensive structural <br /> deterioration all around and the garage is in danger of collapse. Inspection by staff, including the <br /> building inspector, has revealed the garage is beyond repair and needs to be demolished. <br /> 355 S.Crea-NSI#200802399. This case was started on 8-11-08. Stewart D.Sachs,as agent, is named as <br /> the owner in the case. This house was found to be standing open and abandoned. The water service <br /> was terminated in December of 2002,the gas meter removed and the electric meter locked off. Interior I <br /> ceilings are collapsing from plumbing leaks and there is extensive mold throughout the interior. The <br /> doors were kicked in and windows broken out. The house is being stripped of all items of value. �� <br /> 762 E. Decatur-NSI#200802036. This case was started on 7-10-08. Robert C.and Harriet V. Madison are II <br /> named as the owners in the case. This house was found to be standing open and abandoned and in a <br /> severe state of deterioration all around. The gas meter has been red-pinned as dangerous,the water <br /> service was terminated in September of 2005 and the electric meter is locked off. The interior is strewn <br /> with garbage and debris and the ceilings are collapsing from roof leaks. <br />
