R2008-134 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID <br /> GILLIG, INC. <br /> - FIVE 30' HEAVY DUTY BUSES - <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the bid of Gillig, Inc., including the price for optional equipment and <br /> 2008 engine price increase, be accepted and a purchase order be awarded at the not to exceed <br /> price of$300,000 per vehicle, for four 30' heavy duty, low floor buses, with an option for a fifth <br /> bus if Federal FY-08 funds become available. <br /> Section 2. That the Purchasing Supervisor of the City of Decatur be, and she is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to execute a purchase order between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and <br /> Gillig, Inc. for the purchase of four 30' heavy duty, low floor buses, with an option for a fifth bus <br /> if Federal FY-08 funds become available, at the not to exceed price of$300,000 per vehicle. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 2"d day of September, 2008. <br /> ��, � <br /> � � , <br /> MICHAEL T.
