. � � � • • <br /> • FY 2008-09 CDBG � <br /> SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered this 18 day of Au�ust , 2008 by and between the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois (herein called the "City") and Coalition of Neighborhood Or�anizations <br /> (herein called the "Subrecipient"). <br /> WHEREAS, the Grantee has applied for and received funds from the United States Government <br /> the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") under Title I of the Housing <br /> and Community Development Act of 1974, Public Law 93-383; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage the Subrecipient to assist the City in utilizing such funds <br /> in accordance with HUD guidelines and Federal regulations; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed between the parties hereto that; <br /> I. STATEMENT OF WORK: <br /> A. Activities: <br /> The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering activities for the 2008-09 in a <br /> manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a <br /> condition of providing these funds. Such programs will include the following <br /> activities eligible under the Community Development Block Grant Program: <br /> Program Delivery <br /> Activitv#1 <br /> Provide grants of up to $500 to neighborhood groups to assist with neighborhood <br /> activities to enhance literacy and/or life skills. <br /> Activity#2 <br /> Provide grants to neighborhood groups to participate in the annual Regional <br /> Neighborhood Network Conference. Funds will assist with costs incurred for lodging <br /> and travel expenses. <br /> Activity#3 <br /> Hold monthly organizational meetings of neighborhood organizations; develop <br /> quarterly newsletter; and engage in educational services as needed to improve the <br /> livability of neighborhoods. <br /> Subrecipient Agreement(Rev. 08/12/08) Page 1 of 18 <br />
