This is the second step,after the posting of a structure as unfit that initiates the demolition process. City staff recommends approval. 1199 W.Cerro Gordo-NSI#200801305. This case was started on 4-23-08. J.Tee III, Inc. is named as the owner in the case. This house is standing open and abandoned and is in a severe state of deterioration all around. Roof leaks have caused ceilings to collapse and rotted floors. The water service was terminated in February of 2005. The gas meter is locked off and the electric meter has been removed. 1596 N. Church-NSI#200800660. This case was started on 2-19-08. Saundra Dorothy is named as the owner in the case. This house has been extensively damaged by a major fire and the owner said is beyond repair. The owner and insurance company are at odds and the house continues to be a source of constant complaints from the neighbors. 1264 N. College-NSI#200800477. This case was started on 1-28-08. William T.and Tammy L. Dougherty Sr.are named as the owners in the case. The water service was terminated in February of 2008,the gas meter has been locked off and the electric meter removed. The house has structural deterioration from a fire and the interior is full of garbage and debris. There is fire, smoke and water damage throughout the interior. 436 E. Decatur-NSI#200801241. This case was started on 4-15-08. Robert Hornstein is named as the owner in the case. The water service was terminated in January of 2008,the gas and electric meters have been locked off. The house has structural deterioration and a portion of the foundation is collapsing. The house is being extensively vandalized and items of value have been stripped out. 851 N. Edward-NSI#200801272. This case was started on 4-22-08. William T.and Ruthie L.Goforth are named as the owners in the case. The water service was terminated in April of 2000 and both the gas and electric meters have been removed. There is structural deterioration present and the porch is collapsing. The house is in a severe state of deterioration all around. The owners state the house is beyond repair and needs to be demolished.
