PROJEC7 DESCRIPTION <br /> � The project is described as follows: <br /> • Teievised pipeline inspection/survey of sanitary/storm sewers ranging in size from 8"to <br /> � 96" in diameter. <br /> � This Professional Service Agreement is for 1 year, fiscal Year of 2008-2009. <br /> � <br /> � B. SCOPE <br /> � <br /> � Services ta be provided for the Project are as follows: <br /> � TELEVISED PIPELINE INSPECTION/SURVEY <br /> ! 1. A color television camera capable of insertion into 100% humidity conditions will <br /> � be used on this project. The camera head is capable of panning 270°and titting <br /> � 360° and the iris, focus and light source are all remote controlled in order to loak <br /> directfy at problem areas, as well as up service connections. The camera will be <br /> � transpo�ted through the lines on a remote controlled transporter at approximately <br /> • 30 feet per minute, stopping at problem areas to insure proper logging of data. <br /> • The Data Collected, stored and downloaded to the city mainframe will be in a <br /> MPEG digital format applicable to the current City of Decatur Engineering <br /> � Software, that will be used to observe and record features and conditions that will <br /> • assist in the evaluation of the data collected and become a part of the final , <br /> • report. All inspection crew's are PACP Certified. I <br /> � 3. Traffic control and protection for the project shall be in accordance with I.D.O.T. <br /> Highway Standard 701606.01. Daytime operations are proposed for the work. <br /> � <br /> � MANHOLE INVESTIGATION <br /> � <br /> • 1. A physical/visual investigation of each manhole using all necessary safety <br /> equipment. The investigation will include obtaining all data required to evaluate <br /> • each manhole for struCfural integrity, inflovv/infiltration problems, flow <br /> characteristics and environmental conditions. Including all necessary <br /> � dimensions. <br /> � <br /> � SMOKE TESTING <br /> � 1. fnsertion of an inert type smoke bomb of three-minute duration into manholes by <br /> � means of a 3000-cfm or larger blower.
