Johnston, Manager, MIS Division�'� <br /> SUBJECT: Aqreement for Supplemental Operatinq Svstem and Database <br /> Administration Services <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council approve <br /> the attached resolution, authorizing the City Manager to exscute an agreement <br /> with Tyler, Incorporated to provide supplemental Operating System and <br /> Database Administration Services for Fiscal Year 2008-2009. <br /> BACKGROUND: This agreement between the City of Decatur and Tyler <br /> Technologies, Inc. MUNIS Division provides for support services related to the <br /> underlying (third-party) network server and database software upon which the <br /> MUNIS system relies. This is a standard annual operating expense associated <br /> with our continued use of the system. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTORS: None anticipated. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: David S. Johnston, MIS Manager (450-2216) <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: The $12,925.00 will be paid from the MIS <br /> Fund, reimbursed on a pro rata basis from other funds, and is within existing <br /> appropriation authorizations. <br /> 2 Attachments <br />
