R2008-11 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br /> WITH CITY CENTRE DECATUR FOR � <br /> ILLINOIS MAIN STREET COMMUNITY DESIGNATION <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution R2006-76 the Decatur City Council provided their <br /> support of the application by the Downtown Decatur Council to become an official <br /> Illinois Main Street Community Organization; and, <br /> WHEREAS, furthermore, by Resolution R2006-143 the Decatur City Council <br /> provided funding support in the amount of$25,000.00 to the Downtown Decatur Council <br /> to become an Illinois Main Street Community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Letter of Agreement presented to the City Council herewith <br /> from City Centre Decatur (formerly the Downtown Decatur Council), a local Main Street <br /> Program Community, be, and it is hereby, received, placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 2.
