In the event City annexes territory that is not within the City limits at the Effective Date, Comcast shall provide Cable Services to the newly annexed area as follows: (1) if the newly annexed area does not receive any Cable Services, Comcast and City shall meet within thirty (30) days to reach an agreement on the time deadline to serve the new area. Comcast shall serve the new area as soon as possible given technical and economic factors, and within one-hundred-eighty (180) days; (2) if the newly annexed area receives Cable Services from another Cable Operator, Comcast shall have the right, but not the requirement to provide Cable Services to the area. In these circumstances, Comcast agrees that the City would not be required to force any Cable Operator serving the newly annexed area to serve the entire Franchise Area in order to obtain a Franchise Agreement to continue serving the residents in the newly annexed area; (3) if the newly annexed area is served by Comcast or its Affiliate, the newly annexed area will be subject to the provisions of the franchise previously covering that area for channel lineups, service requirements set forth in Section 6.1 and PEG Channel obligations to the extent that the change is not economically and technically feasible consistent with Section 5.1, however, franchise fee and PEG Capital Fee payments must be made to the City in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, unless otherwise stipulated in writing by City; (4) Comcast may, in its sole discretion, pass any costs to provide Cable Services to the newly annexed area to the Subscribers in that area. 6.5 Service to School Buildin�s. Pursuant to 220 ILCS 5/70-501(fl, Comcast shall provide complimentary basic Cable Service and a free standard installation at one outlet to each State accredited K-12 public and private school, not including "home schools," located in the Franchise Area within 125 feet of the Comcast's distribution cable. 6.6 Service to Governmental and Institutional Facilities. Pursuant to 220 ILCS 5/70- 501(fj, Comcast shall provide complimentary basic Cable Service and a free standard installation at one outlet to each municipal building located in the Franchise Area within 125 feet of Comcast's distribution cable. "Municipal buildings" are those buildings owned or leased by the ', City for government administrative purposes, and shall not include buildings owned by City but ' leased to third parties or buildings such as storage facilities at which government employees are I not regularly stationed. 7. Customer Service Standards. Parties acknowledge Illinois State Law 220 ILCS 5/70-501-503 contains Customer Service Standards.
