� If it becomes necessary to change stop loss carriers in the future, the city will be <br /> able to do so without penalty. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objectors to this proposal. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: none <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: City Council members may contact Finance Director, Ron <br /> Neufeld (424-2702), with any questions about this extension. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: This is a temporary measure to allow for <br /> completion of the selection process for a group health insurance administrator. <br /> Claims processing fees will remain unchanged during this period. Rates for the <br /> stop loss coverage will be as quoted for renewal by Transamerica. Expenses for <br /> the extension will be paid from the Self-Insurance Fund. <br /> 2 <br />
