R2007-179 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT <br /> FOR FY-2008 TRANSIT OPERATING ASSISTANCE GRANT <br /> - ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That the City of Decatur enter into a certain Downstate Public Transportation <br /> Operating Assistance Agreement, Contract#3670, OP-08-08-IL, ("Agreement") with the State of <br /> Illinois in order to obtain grant assistance under the provisions of the Illinois Downstate Public <br /> Transportation Act (30 ILCS 740/2-1, et se�c.). <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized and directed to execute, seal and attest the Agreement on behalf of the City of <br /> Decatur for such assistance, or any subsequent amendment to the Agreement that increases the <br /> maximum assistance should the General Assembly approve legislation for such purpose. <br /> Section 3.
