• ' > <br /> LEASE �` <br /> THIS AGREEMENT made as of the �V d of ��: �-��,��t <br /> , <br /> -r � �b , between the Decatur Public Building Commission, Macon County, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation(Commission), as Lessor, and the City of Decatur, Macon County, <br /> Illinois, a municipality and a home rule unit under the provisions of the Illinois <br /> Constitution of 1970 (City), as Lessee. <br /> In consideration of the rents reserved hereunder, and the promises and the <br /> covenants herein made by each of the parties hereto, and for other good and valuable <br /> consideration, it is convenanted and agreed by the parties hereto as follows: <br /> SECTION I. Lease Terms and Rentals <br /> In consideration of the rents reserved and the covenants, agreements and other <br /> terms and conditions herein provided to be kept, observed and performed by the City, the <br /> Commission does hereby lease to the City those portions of the Law Enforcement Center <br /> located on Block 7 of South Addition to Decatur, as per plat recorded in Book G, page <br /> 553 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, street address 333 <br /> South Franklin Street, Decatur, Illinois, allocated to the City's use as specified on Exhibit <br /> A attached hereto. <br /> B. The term of this Lease shall begin on December 1, 2007 and end on November <br /> 30, 2008. The rent shall be Two Hundred Fifty-seven Thousand One Hundred Twelve <br /> Dollars ($257,112.00). The Commission shall pay from the City of Decatur's Law <br /> Enforcement Surplus Account Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-four pollars <br /> Eighty-nine cents ($57,474.89), and the City shall pay the balance of the rent, One <br /> Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars Eleven cents <br /> ($199,637.11), on or before December 1, 2007. <br />
