' <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In our dredging operations, dredged material is piped to the City's Oakley Township sediment <br /> storage site. Excess water is then returned to Lake Decatur by use of a small stream. Since the <br /> Cit does not own the land between Lake Decatur and the stora e site tem ora easements <br /> Y g , p rY <br /> were obtained several years ago to install the pipeline and use the stream. Recently the <br /> easements were renegotiated since they have expired. Three of the nine easements required <br /> compensation of over $5,000 each.
