Book : 3855 Page: 444 <br /> FA�ADE AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement, made this 18th day of June, 2007, between Steven and <br /> Marina Loehr (hereinafter referred to as "Owner"), and the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> Whereas, a portion of the City of Decatur, Illinois, know as the Downtown <br /> Historic District has been designated by the City as an area of architectural and <br /> historical significance, and property located within this District may be a part of <br /> the Old Towne Redevelopment (TIF) Project and; <br /> Whereas, Owner represents that it is the record owner of the improved <br /> real estate located with the District or Project Area, commonly described as 130 <br /> North Merchant Street, Decatur, Illinois, and legally described as: <br /> Lot Nine (9) in Block Two (2) of Franklin Priest's Resurvey of Lots <br /> 5, 6 and 7 in Block Two (2) of the Town of Decatur, as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book U, page 316 of the Records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois. (Except coal and all other minerals <br /> underlying the surFace of said land and all rights and easements in <br /> favor of the estate of said coal and other minerals.) Situated in <br /> Macon County, Illinois, (hereinafter referred to as the "property") <br /> and; <br /> Whereas, Owner and City desire to restore, maintain, and preserve the <br /> exterior design and facade of the improvement situated on the property, and City <br /> desires to provide funds for approved exterior design and facade restoration from <br /> funding avaitable through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br /> program of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, <br /> and; <br /> 1 <br />
