Snow <br /> Route 2 is bordered by West Main Street on the north, downtown on the east, Sunnyside Rd. on <br /> the west, and Lincoln Park Drive on the south. Snow Route 8 is bordered by Eldorado St. on the <br /> south, Pershing Rd. on the north, Main Street on the west, and 21 St Street on the east. <br /> BACKGROUND: These trees are being removed because of damage caused from the ! <br /> November 2006 ice storm. The trees are all located on the City right of way in Snow Routes 2 & , <br /> g. I <br /> A condition of the bid was that the successful vendor must dis ose f all 1 ' <br /> p o andscape debris from <br /> this project in a legal and proper manner or in a landscape waste facility. '' <br /> The low bidder has also provided the City with proof of insurance and named the City of Decatur <br /> as additional insured for this project. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Forestry Division requested the removals and wrote the <br /> specifications. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Rick Marley, Director of Engineering and Infrastructure, 424-2747. <br /> Randy Callison, City Forester, 875-4820. Rick will be at the council meeting to answer any <br /> questions City Council has about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $23,900 from the General Fund, with FEMA reimbursement of 75%. <br /> $ 6,500 from the General Fund. <br />
