� M <br /> If approved by the City Council, staff will proceed to prepare documents to solicrt bids far <br /> providing LED traffic signal lenses. Staff will also begin the preparation of bidding documents to <br /> install the lenses on the traffic signals located on State routes. In the preparation of bid documents, <br /> staff will need to prepare a detailed estimate of the work and the City Council will be requested to <br /> allocate MFT funds for the project. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this request. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation <br /> Illinois Department of Transportation <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Rick Marley, Director of Engineering & <br /> Infrastructure, at 424-2747 <br /> Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 � <br /> Rick Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the I'� <br /> Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> The funding of up to $350,000 for the purchase of LED traffic signal lenses is budgeted in the MFT <br /> Fund which will be reimbursed up to $170,675 from the grant.
