A1 ander, Director of Water Management � <br /> SUBJECT: U.S. Department of Agriculture Power of Attorney Form <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Council adopt the attached Resolution authorizing Power of Attorney to Hickory Point Bank& <br /> Trust Agricultural Services for U.S. Department of Agriculture programs. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Approximately 10 years ago Council authorized Magna Bank Agricultural Services to manage , <br /> the City's farm properties at the DeWitt County water wellfield and Oakley Township sediment <br /> storage site at a cost of$1,500 annually. Through the years as Magna Bank merged with other <br /> banks, the Agricultural Services unit eventually became part of Hickary Point Bank & Trust <br /> about five years ago.
