SCOPE <br /> Services to be provided for the Project are as follows: <br /> STORM SYSTEM FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> 1. A physical/visual investigation of each storm system found by quarter section. <br /> The investigation will include obtaining all data required to evaluate each system <br /> for location,flow characteristics and possible environmental concems. <br /> STORM EFFLUENT OUTFALL INVESTIGATION <br /> 1. A physical/visual infiltration of each storm outFall into drainage ditches, creeks <br /> and larger retention basins. This investigation will include obtaining all data to <br /> include, pictures in digital format, required to evaluate each retention basin <br /> and/or above ground effluent channel for location, flow characteristics and <br /> possible environmental concems. <br /> TELEVISED PIPELINE INSPECTION/SURVEY <br /> 1. T.V. Inspection will only be used to gather needed information not possible by the <br /> physicaUvisual investigation and as directed by the City of Decatur Engineering <br /> staff. <br /> 2. A color television camera capable of insertion into 100% humidity conditions will <br /> be used on this project. The camera head is capable of panning 270°and tilting <br /> 360°and the iris, focus and light source are all remote controlled in order to look <br /> directly at problem areas, as well as up service connections. The camera will be <br /> transported through the lines on a remote controlled transporter at approximately <br /> 30 feet per minute, stopping at problem areas to insure proper logging of data. <br /> 3. A video tape recorder in VHS format or video CD/DVD format will be used to <br /> observe and record features and conditions that will assist in the evaluation of <br /> the data collected and become a part of the final report. <br /> 4. Traffic control and protection for the project shall be in accordance with I.D.O.T. <br /> Highway Standard 701606.01. Daytime operations are proposed for the work. <br /> 2 <br />
