GOUNCIL COMMUNICATION FORM <br /> PURCHASING& INTERNAL SERVICES MEMORANDUM <br /> #07-11 <br /> Apri12, 2007 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor Osborne and City Council <br /> FROM: Steve Ga City Manager <br /> Ron Neufe , inancial Management Director � <br /> Deborah M. erry, Purchasing Supervisor� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for Heavy Duty Regular Cab '/2 ton Pickup Truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Bob Ridings to <br /> furnish one (1) 2007 Ford F150 regular cab 2 wheel drive pickup truck. <br /> BACKGROUND: This pickup truck will be used by the Evidence Officer at the Police <br /> Department. It will replace a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup currently in use. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The pickup truck was requested by the Police <br /> Department. Fleet Maintenance wrote the bid specifications. Both recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Rick Marley, Director of Engineering and Infrastructure, 424-2747. <br /> Dick Borders, MSC Manager, 875-4820. Rick will be at the council meeting to answer any <br /> questions council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $14,395 from the Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
