Johnston, Manager, MIS Divisior�l�� <br /> 0`` <br /> SUBJECT: Aqreement for Supplemental Operatinq Svstem and Database <br /> Administration Services <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council approve the attached <br /> resolution, authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Tyler, Incorporated to <br /> provide supplemental Operating System and Database Administration Services for Fiscal Year <br /> 2007-2008. <br /> BACKGROUND: This agreement between the City of Decatur and Tyler Technologies, Inc. <br /> MUNIS Division provides for support services related to the underlying (third-party) network <br /> server and database software upon which the MUNIS system relies. This is a standard annual <br /> operating expense associated with our continued use of the system. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTORS: None anticipated. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Gerard J. Bauer, Management Services Director(424-2805); <br /> David S. Johnston, MIS Manager(424-2703) <br /> BUDGETlTIME IMPLICATIONS: The$11,967.26 will be paid from the MIS Fund; reimbursed on <br /> a pro rata basis from other funds, and is within existing appropriation authorizations. <br /> 2 Attachments <br />
