STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, Acting Director of Engineering and <br /> Infrastructure, at 424-2747 <br /> Matt Newell, will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the <br /> Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATION: <br /> The proposed resolution authorizes the City to expend up to $400,000 from the Motor Fuel Tax <br />, Fund to reimburse the General Fund for general traffic signal maintenance work for the 2007 <br /> calendar year. <br /> Funding for this transfer is budgeted in the MFT Fund for the current Fiscal Year and will be <br /> proposed in the upcoming Fiscal Year 2008 budget for the remainder of the calendar year. <br /> General Fund expenditures for traffic signal maintenance wark have been included in the Traffic <br /> and Parking Division budget for the remainder of the current fiscal year(through Apri130, 2007), <br /> and will also be included in the fiscal year 08 General Fund budget when finalized this April. <br /> They are anticipated, ongoing expenses of the General Fund. <br /> attach: 2 <br /> cc: John Smith, Assistant City Manager for Public Services <br /> Ron Neufeld, Finance Director <br /> Aaron Lawson, Assistant City Engineer <br /> Dick Borders, Acting Municipal Services Manager <br /> Dan Mendenall, Traffic and Parking Supervisor <br /> Page 2 <br />
