Mass Transit Memorandum
No. 011007-2
January 10,2007
TO: Honorable Mayor Osborne and City Council Members
FROM: Steve Ga , ity Manager
Paul McC c , Mass Transit Administrat
SUBJECT: Award of Contract—ADA Eligibility Determination Services
SUMMARY Staff recommends that Council adopt a Resolution awarding a
RECOMMENDATION: contract to Macon Resources, Inc., to provide a) assistance in
developing ADA eligibility standards for paratransit riders, and
b) ADA eligibility determination services to the Decatur Public
 Transit System.
BACKGROUND: Persons wishin to use the Transit S stem's door-to-door aratransit
g Y p
services must be certified as having a disability that prohibits them
from using the bus system.
